Tanner's Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

The kids had paper costumes they had made and attended the "feast" in pilgrim or Native American attire. It was way too cute, and as you will see in the last picture, I had to steal the idea for the kids at the Nelson Thanksgiving Feast!! They were so patient and kept everything on just long enough for me to make a picture!

The best part of Thanksgiving was just hanging out with our family. The time spent together was truly a blessing from God. Thanksgiving night found us all around the kitchen table playing "Catch Phrase" until 1 A.M. !! Even my Dad stayed up for all the action...and played...and really felt good. It truly was "a God thing", as I like to say, that my Dad had two of the best days he has had in years and we all had much lighter hearts getting to watch him feel as good as he used to! Even having to go in to the hospital on Friday morning for yet another platelet transfusion was touched by God. With all the crew at our house, we were able to leave the boys in charge of the kids, and Susannah, Leann and myself were able to go to the hospital with Mom and Dad, which is usually something they do alone. So, all that said, it was truly a magnificent Thanksgiving!!
