Learning something new!!

As it finally begins to warm up a little, it brings great opportunity to be outside. On this particular afternoon, it was a good chance to cut the grass before the rain that had been predicted actually arrived. As most children are..especially boys, Tanner and Evan were fascinated with the mower...how it worked, its sounds and smells, and trying it out for themselves. They were so proud of helping Dad mow the grass. I wish you could have heard their squeals of delight when the mower "exploded" (note picture in lower right hand corner). They kept asking Hugh to "do it again, Dad" and we simply could not convince them that such a copious amount of smoke from the mower was not a good thing(:
