It's the sixth year we have had a zoo membership and we wonder every year if we really will make enough trips to the zoo to justify another yearly membership. But, I am always so glad that we did get memberships, and today was no exception. Fall is the absolute best time for an afternoon trip to the zoo....low crowds and bearable temps make it fun, but the best part is that he animals are all a bit more active and social. We have never seen the red panda move and he was running laps today. Even the rhinoceros iguana...who I always wondered if he was really real....not only walked across he sand, but peed in it too. The boys LOVED that. It was a great day and reason to have a zoo membership. You boys do love your animals!
