...spending the first two weeks of February reading about The Civil War, Abraham Lincoln, and The Emancipation Proclamation.....
Then, actually getting to see the ORIGINAL Emancipation Proclamation document today on display for a limited time at the Tennessee State Museum! It was really cool. Tanner was impressed with Abraham's penmanship and Evan was silenced by the pictures of the slaves that had been beaten and scarred.
I have to say, it was pretty intriguing.... Even for this notorious "history hater! Wonder why there aren't any math museums? :)
