This was the first year that Tanner and Evan were old enough to play on the same team for Upward basketball, so Hugh and I took the opportunity to coach them. It was hard, fun, rewarding, funny and challenging, but worth every minute. We had a great team of guys and had some "down to the wire" games that made the season so memorable....well, there was one team, one particular coach and one particular mother that made the season even more memorable for me!! Let's just say I have never had to chat with a deacon before;)
