October 3rd is always a bittersweet day for me....two anniversaries that blend the beginning of a journey and the end of another. October 3rd marks the anniversary of my marriage to Hugh, but it also marks the anniversary of the day my father's earthly journey ended and his Heavenly one began. So, Hugh and I usually make our anniversary date another day that is most convenient to have a date and celebrate, and we all go out to the Veteran's cemetery to remember our amazing father and grandfather. God gave us such a beautiful day, and the cemetery is such a beautiful one anyway, so that just brought a little joy to the remembering. God has a way of helping us like that......
And kids...well they have a way all their own of making play fit into any situation. Dad would have LOVED that!
